The Museum is open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas. Monday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesday-Sunday
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Last tickets sold at 5:15 p.m. For an optimal experience, we recommend 90 minutes for your visit.
The Museum Store + Café is open Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; weekends 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Directions and Parking
The Museum is located at 411 Elm at Houston streets in the West End Historic District of downtown Dallas.
Visitor parking is conveniently located adjacent to the Museum; the cost is $5 daily. Parking for large vehicles such as RVs and buses may be found on Houston Street, two blocks north of the Museum.
Public transportation includes DART light rail and the Trinity Railway Express. Rail services from Union Station and the West End Station (light rail only) are a short walk from the Museum.

The Museum accepts cash, checks, traveler's checks, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.
The Museum will only accept complimentary tickets with valid expiration dates. Tickets without expiration dates are no longer accepted.
Audio Guides
Narrated by Pierce Allman, the first reporter to broadcast from the Texas School Book Depository on November 22, 1963, the audio guide provides a thorough explanation of and directions through the permanent exhibition on the sixth floor. The guide features excerpts of historic radio broadcasts and the voices of reporters, police officers and witnesses to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
Individual audio guides are available in seven languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish. A youth version is available in English.
Cell Phone Walking Tour
Use your cell phone to learn more about Dealey Plaza and other nearby historic sites. Available only at the Museum, the Dealey Plaza Cell Phone Walking Tour features a narrated guide and map. The tour may be purchased for $2.50. Click here for more information.
Accessibility
The Museum is accessible to wheelchair users and others with special needs. An accessible entrance is located at the northwest corner of the Museum. Wheelchairs are located in the Visitors Center and are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. A transcript of the audio guides is available in several languages for hearing-impaired visitors. Videos in the permanent exhibit are captioned in English.
School and Group Visits
Group reservations can be made for parties of 20 or more. Tour company escorts and drivers are always admitted free of charge, regardless of the group size.

Museum Courtesy
To ensure a quality experience for all, photography and videotaping is not permitted in the exhibits. Food, beverages and the use of cell phones and pagers are prohibited in the galleries. The Museum is a nonsmoking environment.
Nearby Shopping and Dining
The Museum Store + Café is located across the street from the Museum and offers works by local artisans, distinctive pop culture products inspired by the 1960s, newly published books and documentaries and special gift items. Guests can enjoy espresso drinks as well as breakfast, snacks and light lunch fare.
